Embute Labs: where scientific rigour meets real-world execution

A boutique consultancy for the questions that don't fit a template — emerging technology and management strategy, led by people who've done the research themselves.

Some of the most interesting problems I’ve seen — in labs and in industry — don’t fit neatly into either a research paper or a slide deck. They need genuine technical depth and clear-eyed strategic thinking, at the same time, from people who’ve actually sat with the hard version of the problem before.

That’s the premise behind Embute Labs, the consultancy I lead the Emerging Technology Practice for, alongside Dr. Pratiti Nath on the Management Consulting side. We work on spatial computing, XR, AI-driven systems, and innovation strategy for a small number of clients at a time — senior-led, no junior handoffs, no templates.

I won’t turn this into a pitch — the work mostly speaks through the clients we can’t name yet. Our engagements span companies of very different sizes, from global startups — including some backed by Y Combinator — to larger, established organisations. If you’re wrestling with where emerging technology fits into your roadmap, or a market-entry question that needs more than a generic playbook, it’s worth a conversation.
