Empathic VR (demo)

A research demonstrator exploring what happens when two people in a shared virtual environment can see and feel each other’s physiological signals — heart rate, arousal — during collaborative gameplay.

Overview

Built to study empathic computing: by surfacing a partner’s bodily state, the experience changes how players coordinate, trust, and respond to one another. Some conditions even manipulate the displayed signal to probe how perception of a partner shapes the interaction.
